Band Banquet and more

Tonight was the band banquet. I decided that me and Brenna should meet up at 6:30pm at her room to head over to the hotel. So I get to her door and no one is there. I think to my self, maybe she is at Bruce looking for me there, so I ask the guy working the counter where the phones are. He says are you looking for Brenna, I say yes, and he says her mom called and said for him to tell me that she would be a little late getting back. So I wait in the lobby watching MTV untill 6:45pm and she shows up. Man did she look good! I think we made a good couple. There was no kiss at the end or anything like that, but it was still a great time and I hope to do it again.

Afterwards, I hung out in the lobby playing pictionary then I went down stairs and tried to watch Far and Away, but I fell alseep. Can you blame me? Its a dumb chick flick. Now I think I will go to bed because I am tired. Good night.

Tired

Well, I had all of one hour of sleep in the past 2 days. Needless to say, Im very tired now. The only problem is that Bruce Jam is going on right now. Bruce Jam is where we turn the lobby into a 12 hour concert of several different bands. It was fun for a while, but now they have a jazz band on and even though they are very good, I dont like long drawn out solos. I like more big band stuff. I was sitting in the front row and found my self falling asleep, so I decided to try to wake my self up a little.

I bought the Daft Punk cd today. The first third of the cd is amazing, the most outstanding techno I've ever heard. The next thrid is ok, and the last third is just boring. Im still really glad I got it though.

I cant wait till the banquet tomorrow with Brenna. It should be awesome. A good few hours with a girl I can actualy stand to be around with. I guess I'll get back to the concert now.

Happy Birthday Fran

Tonight was a cool night in more ways than one. First, it was freezing. There was ice everywhere on the groud and our cars are starting to look like ice cubes. Second, I went with Brenna to Wal-Mart on the spur of the moment. After I picked up a CD she said that she would pay for it. I told her that she didn't need to and that I wanted to pay for it, but she insisted. She said, "think of it as an early christmas/late birthday present." It was a cd that has a bunch of famous artists singing patriotic songs.

Then I came back for Frans birthday party. My friends sent her on a scavenger hunt over the dorm and at each point, she would get a new clue on what to do and where to go. I was in the Red Room (the tv room) and she had to convince everyone in there to change the channel before I could give her the clue. Well, she failed in convencing anyone to change the channel, but I gave it to her anyway. This all ended up in Sarah's room where about 20 people waited to yell Surprise and sing happy birthday for her. It was really cool and Im glad that there are good people left in this world.

Everyone here is praying that the roads will freeze over and there wont be school tomorrow. I have to present my english paper tomorrow if they aren't canceld so everyone pray!!

God its so cold!!

I just thought I'd tell you that it is ass freazzing cold now. I walked out to go to private lessons and it was sleeting again. By the time I got out there were white paches all over the ground. Its so cool!! I love it!!
