Housing fiasco, a concert, and a cold walk

Oh boy, today was really interesting and pretty long. It starts at 12am with me, Travis, and Brenna all talking online. We were all really tired and our emotions were getting to us, so it got really weird. No one really had any idea what to do later on, but the plan was to go over to brenna's to watch a movie and hang. So, I went to bed.

Next, I woke up at 7am in order to go to the computer lab and register for housing next semester. Well, when 3,000 students are all trying to get on to once web page at once, it tends to crash. It lasted about 10min then went bye bye. Hardly anyone actualy go through. I did get through, but by the time i did for some reason it said bruce hall was filled up, so being scared that i wouldn't get into housing at all, i signed up for Kerr. This was a big mistake so i had to go over to houseing, talk to the guy personaly and explain why i needed to be in bruce so badly. I gave him a pitty story about being short and not being able to walk far, yea i lied, but i got to stay in bruce :)

So finaly, I'm thinking, good now i get to go chill with brenna and travis and have some fun, but noooo i had forgotten about Jeremy's concert tonight so at 3pm I had to leave for Waco. After calling up Brenna and saying i was sorry, I left for Baylor. The concert was cool and they played some really cool music. I also got to go out to eat with Jeremy and Jill which was nice because I hadn't in a while.

After another 2 1/2 hour car ride back up to Denton, I called up Brenna to see what was going on. Travis was still there and the movie was almost over, so in the cold with only a long sleeve shirt on, I decided to go over. I almost froze to death. But after I got there it was totaly cool. Brenna was still nice as ever and everything was normal dispite last night. We got yelled at by her RA to be quiet, well...ok...i got yelled at lol. Anyway, brenna wanted me to show her my handstand stuff so i did which was cool but I realized I was really weak compared to what i use to be. But i still think they enjoyed it. On the way back I ran into Kristen Rutherford. I hadn't seen her in a few months and she even gave us a ride back to Bruce so we wouldn't freeze. What a nice girl.

So over all a long, cold, parlty crapy day that ended very very well.

Jammin with Nicholas

Nicholas came up today and we jammed for a few hours. It was sweet. Since I haven't played with him in so long I had fogotten how good he plays. Only bad thing was he couldn't remember alot of the songs we use to jam out with when i lived at home. OH well, I told him to relearn them so the next time he comes up we can play longer and have more fun with it. His gf came up too, Lacey, which was cool because she took pics of us as we were playing. I never take alot pics with my friends, so its good that I'll have some to look back on. After we were done playing, me, nick, lacey, and travis all went out to the front and sat out side on the grass and just chilled. Turns out Fran and Karina happend to walk by while we were out there and wondered who we were sitting with. I wish they had come over and said hi, oh well.

On friday, me and Karina had a quiet time together in the Union. It was cool because I read 2Kings chapter 3 and we compared notes on it afterwards. Karina has an amazing ability to pull out info that I never even thought of. She said that people will take away different things, which is understandable, but still...I was just blown away by how much she understood it.

We watched some movies tonight in travis' room. We watched Last of the Mohekans and it was really cool. It was me, travis, bobby, luis, fran and karina. Afterwards me, bobby, and travis stayed up and just chilled which is what we are doing now lol. Well, I'm done.

Tag

Well, another semester of Tag has come and gone, for me at least. I only lasted about 11 hours this time compared to my 4 days last time. I was talking at the front desk with Andrea, Jessica, and Sherri untill about 3:45 when I decided to go to bed. I knew my target was in the lobby and I knew she would probably come after me, but I really didn't care if I died or not so I just walked right by the lobby. She walked up to me and killed me. Oh well, I felt good about it because I didn't have to run around anymore. Besides, I had my fun last time. I know what its like and I know I can survive as long as I want to and still move around. So, next semester, I'll be better like I was.

Travis made me a cd for Fran for valentines day and Fran made me a copy of it. Its an awsome CD. Its got Frank Sinatra, Vertical Horizon, Staind, DMB, and alot of others. I listen to it alot. I think Brenna might have a "thing" for him now. I dont know really, she is dropping hints and she did tell me he thought he was cute, so go travis. It would be nice to for her go out with a guy I know wont be a jerk to her eventualy. I haven't spoken to her since early last week. I've tried to call her but I never came seem to get a hold of her. I hope things are going good.

I have to come up with a story for English. Sarah gave me the idea of some kids who get locked in the cafetirea over night and tell about their wild adventure. Well, I gtg to class now.

All banged up

Today was a pretty cool day except for the fact that I got am brused and sore in many places. Me and travis went to carrollton to pick up the flowers for the girls. It took us 2 hours to go and get back because there was a wreck on I35 so we took the long way back. All 3 of them really seemed to like the roses. We all got hugs of course which is always cool and its nice to do something good for someone.

But after that, me and travis went and worked out which totaly messed me up. I worked mostly my pecs and stomach. We did that for about 2 hours then played raqetball with Fran which is were i really got hurt. My arms were so tired I couldn't even pick my self up off the ground so when i was running towards the wall I couldn't stop my self. So I SMASHED into it elbow first and then my knee hit. My elbow has a bruse on it now and my knee still hurts a little. Im also still sore from working out. So much uncomfertableness.

Its times like this I miss Morgan. Cuz she would of said, "aww Im sorry!" and "are you ok?" over and over again. My friends here did that a few times, but Morgan just has away to make it better. I got to see her yesterday at turner. I caught her coming in and talked with her. She threw down her bag and ran over to me, sliding on her knees to give me a huge hug (something I totaly miss). I decided to walk her to class and she was like come in, so I felt weird but i came in and talked to the teacher who i knew because he taught both of my brothers. He was like, "morgan, give patrick a tour of the studio." So she got to walk me around. Its so cool over there, they have a tv set and a radio station, and all sorts of camera stuff. I wish I would of had that when I was there.

Well, I suppose I'll go watch X-Men now at the front desk.

Mardi Gras

What a cool day. Yesterday we had the mardi gras party in our dorm for the whole school. There were tons of people there and the best part was that they had kareokie too. Earlier in the month, we all filled out match maker papers to get matched up with people just for fun. It turns out that I actualy knew who I was matched up with. I see her alot actualy.

Later on, I remembered back to last year when I use to sing New York, New York at home, so I decided that I should sing that song. I was so nervus I almost peed in my pants. I got a huge applaud though and my friends all said I was awesome. Score me! Then, me and Travis decided to do Brown Eyed Girl, but lets just say it didn't go so well. Oh well, we aren't supposed to be good, its kareokie.

After it was technicaly over me, fran, and travis all went to the concert hall and dacned with the RA's untill about 2. It was so cool, we dacned to every kind of music you can think of. Techno, Rock, Pop, Country, what ever you wanted we danced to it.

The whole night ended around 2:30am for me and travis who stayed up and talked a bit. Last night was a blast. Tomorrow, hopefully nicholas will come over and we can jam and let my friends watch. I cant wait to let everyone hear him play. What a bad ass.

New passtime

I've found a new passtime for my self. I'm in the computer lab in the music building and let me tell you, its freaken awesome up here. These computers download faster than ours in the dorm because they aren't behind a firewall. Right now I'm downloading the movie moulin rouge. It should take about 20min or so, but then i'll sit and watch it. Also, ive download several songs by Tantric, Metallica, Jimmy Eat World, and Tenacious D. This is so cool.

Im going back home on friday to teach. It should be fun as usual. But before then, I have to get through tonight. Tonight is the Martie Graw (i know its mis-spelled) thing in the concert all. She doesn't know it yet, but Fran turned out to me my match on the match maker list. I think Demetrie purposely did it because i said i didn't want anyone really tall. Well, theres one more reason not to like him. Dont get me wrong, Fran is an awsome girl, and it is good that i got stuck with someone I know, but i was hoping for a new person so I could make friends or something. But oh well, I guess I'll have to keep on trucking by my own ways for a while until next Valentines day.

A wierd feeling

I feel like I should do something right now, but I dont know what it is. Its not practice piano, or listen to music, or watch a movie, or tv, but I figure its got to be something. So I decided to come and write a little bit more for the day.

I watched Moulin Rouge tonight at the front desk. It would of been just as good as it always is if Valerie hadn't been there to talk over all of it. It really pissed me off because Fran hadn't seen it and I wanted her to get the full effect of the movie. I think she liked it, but i dont think she injoyed it as much as she could have. I really dont like Valerie now, but then again, I never really have in the first place.

I caught Karina on her way back tonight. Her lip is still a little swollen, but I dont think you could tell from far away. I can only imagine how her parents must of felt when they saw it. She said there were pretty shocked. She also said they had a good time today which is cool. Im sure if i didn't live 30min away, my parents would probably do the same thing every now and then for me. At least, Id hope so.

Well, since I'm out of things to talk about. I'll go find something else to do now.

Opera and dancing

Last night me, marcy, fran and karina went to go see bobby's opera. It was actualy pretty good. It was like an opera for kids so it was in english and pretty funny. Afterwards we all went to Whataburger which was good because I was starving. When we got back we went swing dancing in the concert hall which was pretty interesting. Marcy and Karina love to dance so they imediately started dancing with someone. I, on the other hand, didn't have anyone to dance with so I sat there most of the time. Kinda of depressing, I know, but it at least I'm not the one who got popped in the mouth by bobby's hand...Karina. It was awfull, he hit her jaw and it made her bite her own lip open. There was blood and tears and all shorts of "I'm sorrys" going on. She kept an ice pack on it for the rest of the night and I didn't get a chance to see what she looked like today because she spent it with her parents and still isn't back yet. So, over all it was an interesting day.

Travis should be back tomorrow which is cool because we can jam. I'm starting to like jamming with him more and more as we learn more songs. Even though we just goof off most of the time, its still fun hell.

Snow, snow, and more snow

Well it snowed finaly. Ive been waiting for it to snow this whole winter and boy did we ever get it. The had to cancel classes till 10am today, but it didn't do me any good because my first class was at 10!!

I had a pretty long night last night. I was up till 2am in Karina's room with everyone else and then after we left, i rememberd I had a 3-5 page paper to go type up. So I eventualy found my way to the computer around 2:30 and started to fall asleep typing at almost 4 and decided to take a nap on the couch in the lobby. I woke up at about 8am and went right back to the paper. To make a long story short, I got to class and he didn't even check them. We just did peer editing which was kinda cool because i got a number from this really sweet and cute chick named Amanda Bruce. I think I'll call her tomorrow or something.

I made a snow man and I got my picture taken by the UNT news paper guy. But when I looked in the paper today, I wasn't there! I guess I wasn't cool enough. Oh well.

Super Bowl

Another super bowl happend today. It was a great game and I fun over at scotts watching it. Travis came along too which was really cool. The Rams came back from 17-3 and tied it with 1:30 left in the game, but New England took it down and scored a feild goal when the time.

Then I decided to come back to school and me and travis went down to his room to just chil but ended up here in frans room again. Big surprise, oh well, at least Im not sleeping or anything. I guess thats about it for now.

A good saturday

Today was a good day. It started off slow but picked up into a really good ending. When I woke up I realized that for the first time in the whole year, I was going to be in Bruce with out Karina, Marcy, or Fran for the whole day. After me and Travis went to lunch, I went to the library and got my mallet solo that Nathan wanted me to get and went down stairs to Travis's room and played Starcraft for a few hours.

After that, he wanted to go work out so I said I would call him to go eat. At about 5:45, I saw Luis by the front desk and he wanted to go eat so I called Travis but he was still gone, so I left and ate at Kerr. Little did I know that Travis would get back 10min later and that only 2min later Brenna called me to come over and watch some movies with her and her sister. So after I get back from eating, I find Travis and decided to check my messages. I quickly decided to go be with Brenna instead of eating cuz I knew we would end up eating out later on. We watched Swordfish, then went out to IHOP (see i knew we would go out)

Then we all went to Travis' room to watch Fight Club and just hang out. It was great to see Brenna again and talk with her. Shes feeling better, which is good, and I love to be with her because she makes me laugh. April emailed me today too. I hadn't heard from her in a while, so I decided to write her back. Surprisingly, she emailed me back already. No one ever emails me back in the same day. Kinda cool.

I wonder how things went today at the ranger thing with Karina and them. I guess I'll ask about it tomorrow. Oh yea, Morgan finaly emailed me back a few days ago. Thank You.
